About the Project
Slate operates on a volunteer basis, with one or two main authors and varying set of contributors at any given time. Contributions are always welcome, and in fact we will reward interest in the project and contributions with more input into the design process, as well as faster response time to technical questions, feature requests, and extensions; 15 minutes' of turn-around time is sometimes possible. Basically, those who do, also get more say into future progress and direction.
Communication
Reporting Bugs
Slate has no online bug database yet (main justifications: small project team, no one to manage it (volunteers welcome) and rapid response time to fixes). Email to the mailing list or darcs patches to the BUGS file are preferred for now.
Channels
We communicate informally on IRC and also via The Mailing List for important issues.
