I'm a Smalltalk lover and owner of the http://smalltalk.com.br/ domain. I've been using Squeak and GNU Smalltalk and I've been looking since 2001 for a free, advanced, smalltalk-like language, with a more free, non-viral license (BSD or MIT). Slate seems to be exactly what I've been looking for.
