IRC
From SlateWiki
Slate is discussed on the IRC network Freenode (http://www.freenode.net) for open-source projects in the #slate channel.
Anything Slate-related is fine to discuss, from basic questions to technical arguments. Brian Rice, the project coordinator, is often there to help out new users and contributors.
Logs
Logs are available in a pretty format (http://meme.b9.com/) and a raw format (http://tunes.org/~nef/logs/).
Paste Bot
A bot provides a snippet notification facility for multiple channels, including Slate. You can browse its paste history (http://paste.lisp.org/) and filter it on the Slate channel. You can get Slate-channel-specific RSS feeds from that. Brian Rice uses this as an informal bug database, so this can be a good way to get your contribution tracked if you aren't on the mailing list. However, there is a size limit on what can be pasted.
