Code Contribution Suggestions

Slate is a young system and small community. Most things that one would expect from a larger community are "DIY" here; so if there's a particular subject matter that interests you, write a binding to an external library that supports it, or try porting it to Slate as an exercise.

If you are going to maintain it, we currently don't offer a contributions-tracker system, but would certainly do so with a little prodding - just be sure to make us aware. We can help you track it if you use darcs by recording your changes in the src/contrib/ directory in the Slate repository and then using the send command to either Brian Rice or the Mailing List.

If you don't want to support it, that's fine, too! Just let us know that it's okay to incorporate into the project structure, and we'll take the time to integrate and document and maintain it.
